Rubidium Wu is a filmmaker, writer, and photographer with a 30-year career spanning Australia, the UK, and the United States. He has directed commercial work for global brands including Nintendo and Sony PlayStation, as well as the feature films Brooklyn Tide and The Devil’s Fortune.
Alongside his production work, Rubidium has spent over a decade teaching storytelling and filmmaking. He has worked as a college professor and is the creator of the YouTube channels Crimson Engine and Life Lab, where he has built an audience of over 200,000 subscribers and generated more than 10 million views.
His commercial collaborations include Canon, Sigma, DJI, and other leading brands in the filmmaking space. As a speaker, he has presented on storytelling and its transformative power at institutions including Cornell University and the University of Vermont.
